Expansion into Diverse Sectors
• First company to setup international standard highway rest and recreational center having capacity to accommodate more than 100 vehicles at a time in Jamuna Bridge.
• Pioneer setting up of wireless local loop telecommunication in north Bengal.
• Introduced international standard luxury coaches in association with Hyundai of Korea.
• One of the pioneers to provide gas-based fuel distribution and retail across the country.
• First company to setup alkaline based chemical plant in Bogura and having exclusive manufacturing capacity of calcium hypochlorite.
Sustainable Growth and Economic Impact
• The main philosophy of SR group is to ensure a sustainable and eco-friendly process in all their offerings of products and services.
• Food Village and Food Village Plus has funded local farmers to provide their AGRO produce for use in food village. This enabled delivering organic food to the customers and development of small farmers to become SME entrepreneurs.
• The principal reason for setting up alkaline-based chemical plants was to create a line of products which were import substitute thus saving foreign exchange for the country.
• SR Chemical exports 50% of its produce earning foreign exchange for the country.
• Unique infoway uses state of the art telecommunications technology for delivery of voice calls to ANS.
