CSR Activities

Children's Support

SR Group embarked on its journey with a strong desire to make a positive impact on society and the nation. SR Group holds a genuine concern for its surroundings and actively participates in Corporate Social Responsibility by the companies of the group & also through the welfare foundation called “Shaheed Golam Rabbani Foundations”. Shaheed Golam Rabbani Foundations was established in 2009 in the village of Dhankundi, Sherpur, Bogura. The Foundation operates a children home named “Batighar” for orphan children. They bear 45 children’s responsibility for food, madrasa and schooling.

Scholarships for Students

This foundation provides scholarship to the poor meritorious students of the area to move forward their studies. About 48 students of medical, engineering and varies other general subjects.

They provide financial support as well as distributes cow and goat to the poor, divorced and widowed women. Moreover, they take responsibilities of destitute and guardian women to empower them also socially & economically. The foundation also arranges weddings for the less fortune women.

Every Friday the foundation arranges a medical camp named ‘’Free Friday clinic’’ for the people who cannot bear medical expenses.

Specialized Eye Treatment

They also provide special eye treatment in the modern specialized hospital in Bogura. Additionally, “Shaheed Golam Rabbani Foundation” organizes an eye camps within every 3 months. They are also taking initiatives to provide treatment to the patients who have kidney complications along with aiding for Dialysis, angioplasties etc.
